THE ZINGERS may have packed their bags and moved on up to their private condos, country estates, and forest temples after the global success of The Zingers ST LP- but luckily for us, were grand enough to give VIDEO FLEX legal clearance on the release of THE ZINGERS live in concert. Documents were faxed, nods were given, and John Hancocks graced our papers in sacred ink. “Still Doing It,” the second VHS release from Video Flex, presents footage of THE ZINGERS playing a sold-out concert to ogled-eyed fans at an entertainment complex tucked away in the dirty gentrified middle-class suburb of Northcote. For safety reasons, THE ZINGERS were escorted by a private security team led by Bruno, head of Zinger safety. Bruno’s footage of THE ZINGERS is a beautiful array of colour, sound and sandwiches carefully prepared by Zingers front man and 2013 Australian of the year, Randy Richard. Crowd favourite, Chingford shows his appreciation to the crowd with such grace and vigour. Swastika Sweatman (lovingly known as Bigot Bryce) shows off his flair and charisma behind the wooden percussion instrument, while Wes plays guitar. THE ZINGERS “Still Doing It” VHS contains a video cassette tape of The Zingers “Still Doing It,” A detailed insert containing the lyrics to the unreleased smash hit “You’ll Get Nothing And Like It” and a complementary Video Flex sticker. This truly is the quintessential Zinger time piece for the home or office.
