Theo Loyla

English plugger who began his musical career in the mid-1970s with Polydor, promoting artists such as Level 42, Shakatak, Gloria Gaynor, and James Brown. He then ran The Superjocks Hit Squad with Disco Mix Club, and Bullet, being responsible for the promotion of Whitney Houston, and The Cool Notes, to name but two. He left plugging in 1988, and moved into music retail where he remained until 2004. He continues to DJ.
