Album DK 2017 on TRTLNCK label
Dance (Techno)
While we know relatively little about Denmark's TRTLNCK label, the boutique label impressed us with their first outing from last year. They're now back with yet more of their native crew, and we can easily see this becoming an interesting little emporium for outsider house and techno in the future. Theodor Nymark starts off with the raw, analogic bleeps and mechanical sway of "Mayall's Object", guided by an excellent percussive swing. The flipside sees Resonant Pole deliver a bruising concoction of techno stabs with "Morket", while ANTN's "Wet Black Noise" delivers the most incorrigible moment on this tidy 12", in the form of a mussy, bass-heavy techno snowball. TIP! - Juno Records.
