Thibault Abrial is a renowned guitarist and composer from France, and the son of Patrick Abrial. He has been a member of Trust, has played on albums by Angher, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Berger, with Renaud Hantson (Furioso), De La F, Quorum, Christine Lidon, No, STS, Nill Luz, and Infernal Machina with Jannick Top. In 2000, Thibault assembled 60 French guitarists to create a set of four albums called Guitares Attitudes, including one each for rock, blues, acoustic and jazz. He also organized two concerts at the Bataclan in Paris to perform the albums live with all the guitarists. Some highlights of Thibault’s performance career include: Trust concert (CBS convention), Cannes Guitares Passion (with Steve Vai, Blues Saraceno and T.M. Stevens), touring with Johnny Hallyday in 1992, Parc des Princes tour in 1993, Michel Berger's La Legende de Jimmy at Mogador, French and European tours with Abrial’s, Festival de Bourges, Paris Quartier d’été, STS with Jannick Top in Geneva, Show for L'Oréal (FX), Concert for Hermes in Japan, and master classes for music schools including ATLA Paris, CMA, Valencienne, Vittel, Issoudun and Meaux. Thibault has also had a successful career in music for film, scoring for Taxi (1, 2 and 3), Le Sac de Noeuds (Josiane Balasko), Apres L'amour (Diane Kurys), A L'Heure ou les Grands Fauves (Marc Jolivet), Bernie (Albert Dupontel), co-composing for the TF1 series La Vie Devant Nous (season 1) and La Vie Est à Nous (season 2); La Patrouille de France (Eric Magnan), Crosswind (Patrick Passe), and La Cathedrale (Harri Anenden). He has recorded jingles for Well, Nescafé, MacDonald’s, Gervais, Stimorol, Super conquérant, Gaumont buena vista, Lipton, Martini, Grundig, Monsieur Propre, Danone, Futuroscope, Hollywood canteen and many others. Thibault performed on live TV on La Grosse Improvisation (Comédie network), and recorded on sessions for the music for Roland Petit's ballet. He also created an educational video series called: Techniques & Effets de Jeu à la Guitare.
