French contrabassist born 25 September 1961 in Algier. Member of The National Orchestra Of Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon since 1986. He also has his own ensemble "Le Carré De Basses" with 3 other bassists from the orchestra. Since 2001 he likes to travel all around the world with his instrument, playing concerts everywhere he can : solo on his boat, on the Himalaya, in the Morocan Atlas, during a bicycle trip in France etc. These experiences have inspired his spectacle "La Contrebasse Voyageuse" (the travelling contrabass).
