Thomas Bruttger was born 1954. His oeuvre encompasses texted and instrumental compostions, solo and chamber music works, ensemble and orchestra works and can be divided into three creative phases whose borders are marked in 1984/85 by the fruits of his studies with Iannis Xenakis and, ten years later, as of 1995, by the introduction of spectral techniques into his compositions.
