Thomas Ligotti (b. 1953) is an author of horror stories, or more precisely weird fiction in the vein of H.P. Lovecraft. An internationally acclaimed writer and recipient of several prestigious awards (including the Bram Stoker Award, the British Fantasy Award and the International Horror Guild Award), Ligotti quickly found a "cult following" of readers that included David Tibet (of Current 93). The two have collaborated on several occassions, slowly breaking the border between music and literature.
