Singer, guitarist, instrumentalist. Born in Steinfurt, Germany 19/1/1949. Member of the Passmann brothers project Gebrüder Engel from 1976 to 1983 (as Thomas Engel and not to be confused with the Cologne musician). After the duo had disbanded, he founded the Moonbeats in 1985 (using the stage name Tommy Moon). In 1996 he reformed Geier Sturzflug with Friedel Geratsch, where he changed his stage name to Carlo von Steinfurt.
