Thriller U’s latest single is from Music4Life, the Austin-based record label. Isn’t It Wonderful is about the joy one feels when they are loved and and are able to love that person in return. The musical bed for this song is The Weirdo Riddim, which began as a loop from John Patterson in Kauai, Hawaii. John and RJ connected around 1987 after RJ placed an ad in the local Austin Chronicle looking for like-minded musicians to collaborate with. RJ took The Weirdo Riddim, remixed it and began voicing artists on it. This single is the first release from the 11-track Weirdo Riddim that will be released later in 2016. The album features artistes from the Caribbean and Austin’s vibrant reggae scene which RJ is an active member of.
