The Phoenix based indie rock group Tickertape Parade, the work of Aaron Wendt and Jesse Everhart along with Sean McCall and Topher Bradshaw, create the kind of hooks and melodies that immediately provoke comparisons to the infamous Clarity album from Jimmy Eat World. The group’s self-produced first release, You’re Causing a Scene - recorded by audio guru Bob Hoag, features the stand out song “Sore Eyes” that maintains their accusing progression and unforgettable choruses. The harmony rich “Here it Comes” features Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World singing the sarcastic parody of cliche celebrity status. The track “Breath; Repeat” features the mesmerizing voice of Rachel Haden, which ends with a most perfectly orchestrated harmony piece that leaves you with a warm sense of elation. A landmark debut from indie rock legends Tickertape Parade.
