A.k.a. Charlotte Vigel
Tiggy (originally from Bornholm, Denmark) kickstarted her music career in 1995 when she became a part of the girl group, "Surprise, Surprise" (with Annette Buonaventzen and Veronica Mortensen.) In 1996 she recorded the song "Ring a Ling" with Flex Records and sang on the Danish Christmas series, "Kummernes Jul", produced by TV2. The following year, Ring a Ling was released as a single and immediately shot to #1 on the Danish singles charts, as well as her follow-up single "Simsalabim". Her first record, "Fairytales", enjoyed the same popularity. Her second, self-titled album was released in Japan in 1999 and featured a cover of the Japanese pop song "Sobakasu" ("Freckles") for the Dancemania series. Since then, Tiggy has moved onto theater with her real name, Charlotte Vigel. She has played Grizabella in Det Ny Teater's production of Cats, hosted a radio show on the Danish radio station "The Voice" and has started a party band called "Back to the 80's".
