"Tape and analog synth experiments! Sometimes it went to the RED! :) All recorded in 2006 to recycled tape, Ampex actually, but old one. Not experiments really, just live equipment playing to tape... transfered them to 48/16 wav`s a few years later, mastered them, gave some as mp3`s to friends, write it to dvd, put it in my archives box and forget it totally... in fact, i still have a box of about 40-50 tapes from 1996 onwards, most of it i didn`t even listen to later, no clue whats on them still, so i`ve never thrown my akai deck out, even when tapes were not fashionable, ten years ago, i kept on loving them, to record things without a computer, have nice bass compression, and all these things. Like continous sound, not tiny samples rapidly... :D So talk to me about tapes BACK in fashion again, and i`ll punch you in the face with a box full of them. Most of the new releases are just taping things from digital sources, which is really a defetist thing to do somehow. This is the opposite! Anyway, enjoy the wow and the flutter!"
