Croatian composer and conductor. Born July 1, 1902 in Boljun, Istria peninsula, died January 24, 1973 in Zagreb. Completed composition studies at the Zagreb Music Academy. From 1923 to 1945 he was a military kapellmeister and a teacher at a Military music school. From 1945 he was a music teacher at the Pavao Markovac music school in Zagreb. He was a leader of various singing societies in Tuzla and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a conductor of the Pavao Markovac Society symphonic orchestra.
