Tim Van Egmond plays the hammered dulcimer, and at times adds the spoons to the band's sound. He's also one of Swallowtail's two callers, usually taking the second half of the dance after George Marshall calls the first part. Tim is a folksinger and storyteller, and also calls for Family Dances, teaching traditional dances and singing games.
