Tim Eaton

voc, CA
Singer of Rock
A.k.a. Timothy Eaton Harrower

Canadian singer Tim Eaton first gained notice from the music world when he was part of a little-known '60s rock band called the Marshmallow Soup Group. Other members were John Lemmon, Wayne Sweet, Ron "Smack" Smith, and Tim Cottini. During Eaton's time with them, there was one big hit single, "I Love Candy," released November 1969. By summer of 1971, the Marshmallow Soup Group was no more and Eaton went solo. He put together a band to back him, called Timothy, consisting of Paul Armstrong (drums), Mike Brews (keyboards), Hendrik Riik (bass), and Phil Groves (lead guitar). They released a number of singles that didn't bring about any hits. A couple of years later, Eaton tried again, this time working under the assumed name Buster Brown. His last recording, "Out of Love," was completed in 1974.
