Tim Hawes is a songwriter, music producer, and publisher. He began touring with various bands in the mid-80s to mid-90s. A few years later, with several high-profile writing credits under his belt, he joined Pete Kirtley in creating Jiant, a songwriting and production team. In 2007, Jiant ceased to be and Tim formed Zebra1 with Obi Mhondera. He is also a director at Emeraz, an online social network for various music industry personnel.
