An American film and television composer from California. He worked on numerous American television shows and movies over the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. His best-known work includes episodes of Miami Vice and Melrose Place, particularly the latter's theme song. He is also an orchestral conductor, and has also worked with recording artists like Patti Austin and Peter Cetera.
