London-based radio and club DJ since the late 70's who played a major part in popularising hip hop in the UK. Began his radio career on pirate stations and spent nearly 20 years on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra; currently on Capital Xtra. Ran the Justice label in the late 80s/early 90s.
