A band that evolved from Clive Griffiths' group, 'Take 5'. Formed in Southport, Lancashire, in October 1965, they continued under this name until the departure of Chris Holmes in 1970, at which point they chose to rename themselves Patto. Members: Clive Griffiths (bass) Ollie Halsall (vibes, guitar, vocals) Chris Holmes (keyboards) Mike Patto (lead vocals) John Halsey (drums, percussion) Kevan Fogarty (lead guitar vocals) Jeff Dean (drums) Andy Petre (drums)
