Romanian traditional folk singer, also called “The Nightingale of Maramureș” ✰ November 29, 1950, Borșa, Maramureș County ✞ September 11, 1991, Sighetu Marmației, Maramureș County 1963 - won first prize “Gold Necklace” in Dijon, France, handed by the French president, Charles de Gaulle 1967 - enrolled in “Maramureș Ensemble” 1968 - first recording at Radio România, with Taraful Gheorghe Covaci 1977 - married and moved to Țăndărei, Ialomița County 1978 - gave birth to a girl, “Titienuca” wich died and burried in 1981 when Titiana Mihali touring in Europe Since then, Titiana was changed, including its music from joyous turns to sadness Made heart attack while filming at TVR (Romanian Television) and suffered an open-heart surgery at Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest 1989 - divorced and returned to Borșa, Maramureș County 1991 - found died in her home and burried in Țăndărei, Ialomița County, reburried in 2005 in Borșa, Maramureș County
