A.k.a. Anthony Blanc
Toan was born in the mid-80s and grew up as a movement. He breathes through him and for him. Hip-hop is his life. When he grows up, he'll be a rapper. A promise of a child remains a promise. Even made to oneself. Today Toan lives in Paris. Day psychologist, word handler the rest of the time. A first album, "entre la vigne et la mer (between the vineyard and the sea)". Do not look for ego trip, GTi golf and tires that squeak. Tony Montana has no place at Guédiguian. Toan talks about what he knows, about life in his native South, wedged between the Corbières and the Minervois, the weight of the family's inheritance, the duty of resilience, the love that we have for his family. the one that we must bring to others. Toan went around the world to better understand the one in which he lives. Take a step back on things to better embrace them. His writing is not an outlet. The conscious rap does not exist. Toan built each of his pieces in his own image. Visceral modesty can silence. At home, it forces restraint and leads to reflection, to the choice of the right word. It's not shyness but greatness of soul. If we do not have a story, what is it?
