Tabla player, ghatam player and producer born in 1965 in Radstädt (Austria). Now he's living in Anger (Austria). When he lived in München (Germany) he start learning tabla by Shankar Lal and ghatam by T.A.S. Mani (Karnataka College of Percussion, Bangalore (India)). In 1983 he moved back to Austria and started dj-ing Dancehall and dub at Club Steige (Trostberg, Germany) and founded the bands Zombi Kafe, Shruti Box and the still existing Spaceport Orkestra Of Benares. He played together with bands like Embryo (3), Oregon, Chris Karrer, Rainer Polak alias Doktor Djembe, Bush Taxi, Misery Loves Company and Ramesh Shotham. He was also a member of Münchner Tabla Ensembles. Now he's a member of Spaceport Orkestra Of Benares, Tabla & Strings, Nilgiri Express, Anantya and Geoff Warren Trio and is table teacher in Anger (Austria).
