Todiefor was an italian (hailing from Aviano, Pordenone) hardcore band active from 1997 to 2003. They play an unique multi-faceted mix of hardcore, noise and chaotic metal. They are considered today as one of the most innovative bands to emerge from the European punk/hardcore underground. Their interesting and complex songwriting (expecially in their last work, VirusInfectionControl) can be compared to bands like Botch and The Dillinger Escape Plan, but still keeping a very personal style. Lyrics are very intense and range from personal to political. During their six years of existance they have toured Europe incessantly, sharing stages with bands like Reversal Of Man, Converge, The Great Deceiver, among many others. They were known for their crazy and aggressive live shows. After the band dissolution, members pursued a wide array of different musical projects, founding bands like Slowmotion Apocalypse, Lucertulas and The Secret (4), among others.
