A.k.a. Thomas Righter Snow
American singer songwriter, composer, pianist, keyboardist and synthesizer player. Tom Snow's first musical venture was as a member of Gram Parson's THE LIKE in 1965. This band became The International Submarine Band which Tom declined to join. He also wrote songs for the Boston band THE BAGATELLE including their single "Such A Fuss About Sunday". Moving to LA he met Michael Fondiler who had been a member of proto-SPIRIT bands THE RED ROOSTERS and WESTERN UNION and together they formed a duo Fondiler & Snow and then a band FAT DUGGY before changing their name to COUNTRY and releasing a self titled album on CLEAN RECORDS in 1971. Peter Asher became their manager and enticed Tom to leave COUNTRY and go solo. A debut solo album UPTOWN HOPEFUL was recorded but never got released until recently by SLIPSTREAM RECORDS. Tom later got a deal with CAPITOL Records and Arista and released 3 albums in the late 70s before cementing his career as a songwriter writing many hit songs for pop legends.
