Quartet for Instruments is at once an extension of earlier compositions and a departure in that it relies predominantly on acoustic instrumentation. Improvisations on piano, clarinet, minimal electronics, and cello treatments were edited and arranged during a two month artist residency at Headleands Center for the Arts, just outside San Francisco. This opportunity was made possible by a grant from the North Carolina Arts Council. 400 copies packaged in clear vinyl sleeve with folded insert.
