A.k.a. Karl Edward Thomas Borgudd Slim (51)
Swedish musician turned racing driver. Tommy "Slim" Borgudd was a member of several bands during the 1960s and 1970s, including Lea Riders, Made in Sweden and Solar Plexus, also working with Bjorn Ulvaeus with the Hootenanny Singers and a few ABBA studio sessions. In the 1960s, Borgudd became involved with motor racing, later winning the Swedish Formula Ford and Formula 3 Championships, in 1973 and 1979. Borgudd raced in Formula 1 in 1981 (for ATS, carrying ABBA sponsorship) and 1982 (for Tyrrell). Not making it in F1, Slim Borgudd later competed in touring cars and truck racing, winning the European Truck Racing Cup three times. He currently resides in England, where he is a development driver and salesman for Radical Sportscars.
