Single US 1962 on Scepter Records label
R&B/Soul (Soul)
This is the rare variant with silver ink (instead of black) on red Scepter label. Scepter used silver ink by until catalog number 1228, according to 45-sleeves.com. Black ink began with Scepter 1229, so most copies of Scepter 1231 were pressed with black ink. This copy has "Bell Sound" stamped in italics in the trail-off (in addition to other markings).
