Born in Alexandria, Va. Tommy Lee, a self taught musician/entertainer (guitar, bass, piano, organ, trumpet) traveled the midwest for 15 years with show & top 40 groups before returning back to the DC area for 7 to 10 years performing in concerts. He opened for Miles Davis with a band called The Broom. He backed up and played guitar for Del Shannon, Bobby Goldsboro, Roy Buchanan, Carl Perkins, Danny Gatton, Lee Greenwood..practiced with Jeannie C. Riley. Tommy Lee was a member of The Ventrills for 5 years. Tommy did the music arrangement for a song called Touch Me, a hit for both Big Al Downing, and later Tom Jones. He received the Musician of the Year award in 1994 by Atlanta Society of Entertainers.
