Album DE 1992 on Bear Family Records label
Pop
Tompall and the Glaser Brothers was one of the truly under-rated groups of the 1960's and 1970's. Their harmonies were perfect and their musicality without peer. Each brother had a smooth silky voice. Tompall, the oldest brother generally was the lead singer, but his brother Jim (who was a backup singer for Marty Robbins for a time), had a beautiful tenor. Jim later when on to a solo career and still performs today. Both Tompall and Chuck have passed. This Bear Family issue is done with all the quality mastering expected of this label and features Tompall in a number of recordings that never got much play, but together make this an outstanding CD
