Tonik is Anton Kaldal Ágústsson, who creates an evolving mixture of house and halfstep soundscapes with an organic contrast; deep, atmospheric and lush. With his Snapshots series he is exploring and breaking up the various structures of the electronic spectrum while maintaining a strong signature sound. Recent Tonik livesets have featured vocalist Hörður Már Bjarnason and cellist Þórður Hermannsson to help flesh out the experience.
