Australian composer, pianist and keyboardist, born in 1945, died in 2000. Co-composed the ABC news theme song, along with Peter Wall, used for about 20 years by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (the Australian government's broadcasting news service), until 2005. The composition was remixed by Australian outfit, Pendulum, into a 2010 dance music hit.
