Tony Coronado is best known as the former lead singer for Los Bravos Del Norte. He had smash hits with songs like, La Rama De Mezquite and Puño De Tierra under El Rey De Accordion, Ramón Ayala. In his younger years, he was in the norteño group, Los Caracoles de Durango. Tony Coronado then joined Los Bravos Del Norte in the late 80's replacing La Voz De Oro, Eliseo Robles. He left in the early 90's and much like Eliseo Robles, thought he could make it on his own and use the fame he had with Los Bravos Del Norte, and start his own solo career. The group he formed was Los Sultanes de Nuevo Leon, or correctly known as "Tony Coronado y Los Sultanes De Nuevo Leon.
