A.k.a. Anthony Samuel Lane
Anthony Samuel "Tony" Lane (May 2, 1944 – January 1, 2016) was a painter, photographer, designer; former Art Director at Rolling Stone magazine, CTI Records (1969/1970, being replaced by Bob Ciano), Sony Music, Fantasy Records, and Elektra-Asylum Records. He was the designer of iconic album covers for Simon & Garfunkel (Bridge Over Troubled Water), Michael Jackson (Bad), Creedence Clearwater Revival (Mardi Gras) and Carly Simon (Boys in the Trees).
