Cabaret star and actor Tony Weston died on April 19, 2005, aged 73. Born in Cornwall in September 1931 he first attracted attention at the age of 20 when he appeared with George Formby in the West End musical Zip Goes a Million. He went on to star in cabaret throughout the UK and Europe and he also had a successful recording career.
