A.k.a. Fud Candrix Et Son Orchestre
Tony Young (real name: Tony Jongenelen) was a Belgian jazz singer from the 1940's and 1950's. This orchestra was not an orchestra led by him, but by Fud Candrix, who used therefore the pseudonym of Tony Young (8). From the late 1930s, Fud Candrix was under contract with Telefunken, which made it impossible for him to make recordings for other companies under his own name. For that purpose he used the alias of one of his singers, who was Tony Young. As "Tony Young et son grand orchestre de danse" he recorded several sides for the Belgian Rythme (2) label.
