Born in Den Haag - The Hague, The Netherlands. Studied with Nelly Wagenaar and Lenie Noske in Amsterdam, followed by years of study with the famous Marguerite Long in Paris and Viola Thern in Vienna. Extensive concert tours, especially in South America, Middle East and Russia. Taught at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague. As a defender of the piano works of Franz Liszt, she founded the Netherlands Liszt Society in 1980.
