Speed/Thrash Metal band from Cleveland, OH. Originally formed as ROTTERDAM, with Jim Hamar (Breaker) on vocals. They released 1 demo tape, before changing their name to TORMENT. After the death of vocalist John Marshall (ex-Sacred Heart) changed their name to Tormentor in 1989 and adding Juan Ricardo, from Attaxe (2), on vocals. Released one demo tape in 1989, and before the end of 1989 they changed their name to Ritual (17). Then, in 1995 they changed their name to Ritual of Torment.
