Torn Memory were formed in 1986 by former members of The Republic of Sherpa and Tao Mao Craig Kester, David Lex and Jay Keister. Torn Memory recorded and released the 'Euthanasia' cassette in late 1986 and 'The Immigration In Time' cassette in late 1987. Craig Kester and David Lex relocated to San Francisco in 1988, where they recorded and performed until 1998. During this time, Torn Memory released 'The Immigration In Time - Art of Ears sessions" cassette, the 'Organic' CD and the 'Elements' CD. Core Members: Craig Kester – Vocals, Rhythm Guitars David Lex – Lead and Rhythm Guitars Chris Dupre – Bass Other Members: Mark Petti – Drums (Organic) Sophia Campbell – Vocals (Elements) Greg Helton – Drums (Elements) Mike McKevitt - Drums (Hotel Utah) Jay Keister - Bass (Euthanasia)
