Torsten Karl Bertil Eckerman, b. Västerås, Sweden, 10 October 1945, d. Gävle, Sweden, 22 February 2013. Swedish trumpet player. After his musical career, he worked as a high school teacher from 1979 until his retirement in 2012, teaching Swedish, History, Jazz History and Religious studies.
