A.k.a. Drums Power
Italian band formed in Rome by Aax Donnell, vocals, percussion; Paul Micioni, guitar, vocals; Peter Micioni, bass, vocals and Marian Savati, drums, vocals. Traks made its debut in January 1982 with the 12" Long Train Runnin', immediately released by newly born Best Record owned by club-DJ Claudio Casalini, enjoying a huge success worldwide, by decreeing - and this was surely even more important - the official birth of the new musical genre called Italo-Disco. Actually, lead vocals in studio were by Douglas Meakin, who never took part in any public appearances with the band.
