Trenchmouth was a post-punk band formed in Chicago, IL, in 1988. The original line-up consisted of Damon Locks (vocals), Fred Armisen (drums), Wayne Montana (bass), Tom Sweets (guitar), Josh Kohn (guitar), and Chris Kupsak (percussion and vocals). This line-up was featured on the band's first 7", 1989's "Snakebite". Afterwards, Chris DeZutter took over all guitar duties and Locks handled the additional percussion. The band released 4 LPs between 1991 and 1995 and split in 1996. Locks and Montana would regroup in The Eternals (4), while, Armisen would eventually become a cast member on Saturday Night Live.
