Included with the book "Audible Design - A Plain and Easy Introduction to Practical Sound Composition". The book is paperback and 140 pages. Also included are two separate booklets for "Sound Examples" (18 pages) and "Appendix 2: A diagrammatic guide to sound compositional processes" (74 spiral-bound pages). The CD consists of examples to illustrate the ideas in the book and includes short excerpts from Wishart's works "Tongues of Fire", "VOX 2", "VOX 5", and "Red Bird", but the majority of the material appears to be recorded specifically for this CD. Also, there is a short section from Music As A Second Language with permission of the composer and Lovely Music.
