Trilobite is a sludge metal ensemble based in the United States. The group's rotating roster is anchored by guitarists Rob Murray (2) and Alexander Toulas but has most recently also included Eric Hernandez (Kylesa, Capsule) and Billy Anderson (ex-Melvins, Blessing the Hogs). Though completely instrumental, their music still poignantly chronicles the themes of geology, morphology, competitive evolution, and astronomy.The unique blend of styles and influences of each member creates a sound that is both driving and catchy, while still heavy and crushing.
