A long-term collaborator with jazz trumpeter, Terence Blanchard, Davis has worked with several other distinguished jazz artists such as Betty Carter, Mark Whitfield, Marlon Jordan, Roy Hargrove, Monty Alexander, and John Patitucci. He has also worked on film scores such as Malcolm X: The Original Motion Picture Score.
