Troye Sivan Mellet (born 5 June 1995), better known as Troye Sivan (/trɔɪ sɨˈvɑːn/), is a South African-born Australian actor, singer, songwriter, and YouTuber. On 15 August 2014, Sivan released his first major-label EP, entitled TRXYE, which peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200. The lead single from the EP, "Happy Little Pill", reached number 10 in the Australian charts. On 4 September 2015, Sivan released his second major-label EP, Wild. His debut studio album, Blue Neighbourhood, was announced on 14 October and released 4 December. He spent most of 2016 touring in support of the album, and in 2017, he returned to the studio. In 2018, he burst back into the spotlight with his sophomore album, Bloom, which was released on 31 August 2018. The rest of 2018 was spent doing the North American tour dates for The Bloom Tour.
