TSHEGUE is a new musical project from Paris, France and born from the meeting of Faty Sy Savanet and Nicolas 'Dakou' Dacunha. On one hand, Faty on vocals, a native from Kinshasa who mixes her love for garage rock, voodoo, and tribal music with her parisian cheeky vibe. Faty was born in Kinshasa but has been living in France since her teens. Aside TSHEGUE, Faty is also a DJ at l’Embuscade and la Mano in Paris, as well as for aftershows. On the other hand, the talented drummer, percussionist and producer Dakou, with musical influences from Cuba, French West Indies, London and Paris. Dakou has been developping his career in the french music industry for more than a decade. Among others he played with Raul Paz, Maya Andrade, Amel Bent or Yael Naim.
