New album by Tsone - “Boredom is a Toothless Lion” draws inspiration from reading David Mitchell’s Cloud Atlas. Like the vignettes that make up each chapter in Cloud Atlas Tsone consciously decided before hand to approach each song on this album using different techniques, different source sounds, or different creative perspectives. Piano, synthesizer, field recordings, and sounds whose sources were long forgotten were all passed through various custom built sound processing software. Tsone`s aim was to create an album that brings together the disparate elements of each song into a cohesive whole. This work is also the result of author`s continued investigations into the expression of the relationship between entropy, wholeness, emergence, and transcendence through sound.
