Jazz (Jazz-Rock, Contemporary Jazz)

Cinemathique is the third studio album from instrumental supergroup Tuatara, featuring Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey of REM, Barrett Martin of The Screaming Trees, Justin Harwood from Luna, and renowned saxophonist Skerik. Conjuring their many film soundtrack influences, Cinemathique takes the listener on a whirlwind cinematic ride around the globe with musical themes that range from jazzy film noir, to spaghetti westerns, to action spy thrillers. Critics have hailed this as the band’s most accomplished instrumental album to date, referring to it as “the band’s most realized soundtrack album.” Recorded at Studio Litho and The Laboratory, Seattle, WA. Mixed at Studio Litho. Mastered at RFI Mastering, Seattle, WA.
