Hailing from the north of France, Tyler Smith discovered acid house in the late 80s, and then got into the english and german trance sound with labels such as Eye-Q or Platipus and artists like Oliver Lieb.He soon got into djing and started playing in different parties around. In the late 90, he got fed up with belgian cheesy club tunes and started playing more and more underground techno tracks influenced by the english, german and above all the Detroit sound. In 2001, he appears next to Dimitri Pike (Mirage/Matrix/Subject Detroit) in the "Tuesday session" radio show on Campus FM (Villeneuve d'Ascq / France).He started producing his own tunes by the late 90s and created his homepage Alphaground to share his dark and groovy techno beats.In 2004 he often played as a radio DJ for ElectrOne and FlashFM (Limoges / France). He started collaborating with Bionic (Banco project). Resident DJ on Planète FM (Arras / France), his sets are broadcast at E-world Mix and also during the "in the mix" radio show on Raar FM since 2005 (the Netherlands).In 2006, he started a new radio show "Interstate94" on livesets.com
