A.k.a. UK Heights U.kay Hytz
U. Kay Hytz (a.k.a uk heights) are an independent, eclectic band from Petersfield, near Portsmouth. As uk heights they write and perform songs, as U. Kay Hytz they create Ambient/Chill music. Together since 1991; released Ibiza white label “Immaculate” (c/w Interdance – “We’re not into war”) in 1991, since then two CD EP’s (Love and Intent Club/Radio mixes (1998) and Mackeral Skies IYF mixes (2000) - which reached top ten of the mp3.com Electronica chart December 2001, and was included on the Ambient Northern Lights Vol. 2 Compilation from Just Create records). Albums - “So Far” (1995), “Ambients” (2002), “Welcome to Life” (2005), “An acute sense of the absurd” (2006). They are currently performing in Second Life and working on a new EP.
